Meet Bryan Fikes, Advertsing Guru and creator of Fike Shway. Creative, enthusiastic, and people-oriented, Bryan is one for whom sales is a natural skill and art form. He loves sharing his knowledge, experience, and creative ideas in marketing, networking and advertising to provide a results oriented adveritising campaign and help businesses grow.

Bryan does everything with a passionate enthusiasm. At Analy High in Sebastopol, he embraced music, playing saxophone, French horn, and anything else he could breathe sound into. He was associate yearbook editor for four years. He excelled in sports while in High School, but enjoyed football the most. He went on to be an offensive starting guard on the Bear Cubs Football team at SRJC. With a liberal arts degree, he entered South Dakota´s Black Hills University on a football scholarship.

It was during college that Bryan discovered his passion for radio announcing, and he majored in Mass Communications. When he was not suited up for football or on the slopes skiing, he went On-Air with local station, KBHU 89.1. After college, Bryan dove into the field of TV & Radio, pursuing a career behind the microphone and developing the deep melodic “radio voice” that still makes him a hit at parties. Moving to a large 100,000–watt Rapid City South Dakota station, 93.1, he took on the 10pm–2am night shift. Later hoping to get a job with an even larger station, Bryan moved to Phoenix. He didn´t find one, but temporary jobs as a bartender and an auto salesman taught him to listen and to sell, respectively.

Returning to Sonoma County, Bryan heard radio calling him again, and he became an Account Executive with Amaturo Broadcasting, KXFX 101.7 & KFGY 92.9. He excelled and was soon managing 65 accounts. Thirsting for more pure management experience, Bryan took a position at Aladdin Bond Company in 2003, soon becoming District Manager. He used his experience in advertising and marketing to take Aladdin to a 49% market share by late 2004.

Constantly growing through classes in advertising, marketing, and business development, Bryan also became active in civic and social groups. He began his own business, New Wave Digital Memories, doing video transfer, editing, and musical backgrounds for home movies, while exploring his creativity and love of film and music. He also partnered in a new business, Prenatal Peek, which introduced the first technology to create three-dimensional images of babies in the womb.

In 2004, Bryan again joined Lawrence Amaturo and became a consultant for his team, New Generation Media. This offered Bryan the opportunity to travel all over the nation, marketing a new concept in advertising which helped localize and maximize internet search results for clients, using radio as the platform. In the process, he collected more than 3000 business cards and introduced over $10,000,000 in local direct money to 45 station groups nationwide.

Time on the road was fun, but Bryan had continued to maintain and develop his relationships in Sonoma County, and longed to come home. With radio again calling his name, he really wanted to expand his career and work with true professionals. He joined forces with KJZY 93.7 and KZST 100.1 and accepted a position as Market Specialist in August of 2005.

Spending 2005-2007 growing the Prenatal Peek business using SEO tactics and previous marketing experience, Prenatal Peek is a thriving 3d/4d Ultrasound business in Santa Rosa, CA and in Phoenix, AZ.

Now in 2008...

Bryan is now setting his sites on the Bay Area. Launching Bay Area Radio Advertising is a great way to generate interest from small to medium sized business who is ready to dive into radio, but would like a professional like Bryan to aid them.
